English classes are a challenge for me. At first, the whole English teaching in the classroom made me a little confused. The teacher's fluent English explanation and the students' active English discussion made me feel the pressure. Because of this, I should actively participate and try to learn to express my point of view in English. Each attempt made me more confident and made me realize that English learning is not just about mastering some vocabulary or grammar, but also about understanding culture and exchanging ideas.
At the same time, I came across Wiki technology for the first time in this class, which was a whole new area of knowledge for me. Understandably, this is an open collaboration tool that allows multiple users to edit content together to share and update knowledge. I started trying to find information on Wikipedia and even got involved in editing some of the entries. The exploration of Wiki technology not only gave me the skills to search and edit information, but also taught me a lot of new things.
In Korea, cultural differences are an inevitable challenge. In life, from eating habits to social etiquette, there are many differences with the country. For example, most Koreans don't eat breakfast and like to drink cold water even in winter. In terms of social aspects, Koreans pay attention to etiquette and hierarchical concepts, and have specific etiquette norms when interacting with elders and classmates. Over time, I gradually adapted to life in Korea, learned to express my daily needs in Korean, and learned a lot more about Korean culture and customs.
Under the double test of English class and Korean life, I became more independent and confident. I learned how to learn and solve problems on my own in an unfamiliar environment. In the face of difficulties, no longer easily retreat, but bravely meet the challenges. In the future, I hope to continue to study hard in Korea and apply what I have learned to practice. I plan to participate in more academic exchange activities to broaden my horizons and improve my overall quality.
