Extra credit project 2 :Adapting to English, Technology, and Korean Life——SHU YING

Adjusting to life in Korea has involved learning English, mastering Wiki technology, and adapting to a new culture. Here, I share my experiences and suggestions for improving international student experiences.

Returning to English after a long break was challenging. The class at a Korean university helped me improve through interactive methods like group discussions. Despite initial struggles, I regained confidence and enhanced my language skills.

My first experience with Wiki technology was fascinating. Initially confusing, I became proficient with practice. This technology has improved my digital literacy and collaborative learning skills.

Mastering the language of instruction is crucial for international students. Universities should offer comprehensive language support and digital literacy training. Fostering an inclusive campus culture can also enhance the well-being and success of international students.

My journey in Korea highlights the importance of language, technology, and cultural adaptation. By implementing these suggestions, universities can create a supportive environment for international students.
