Experiences in taking English classes, learning wiki technology, and adapting to life in Korea
Experience of English courses in Korean universities
The school's English courses include academic English and other courses, including vocabulary and articles in multiple fields. In the English course of our department, Professor Piotr Bronislaw Konieczny is very friendly to us international students. Although our spoken English is not very fluent, he still patiently listens to our explanations and gives suggestions. In class, he actively encourages us to communicate.
Adapting to life in Korea
I remember that when I first arrived in Korea, language was my biggest headache. I had to turn on the mobile phone translator wherever I went because I was not good at Korean. But under the guidance of my friends, I gradually became familiar with some Korean regulations, many things in the school, and many different rules between Korea and China, and adapted to life in Korea.
Learning Wiki technology
Learning Wiki technology is a new field of exploration for me, because Wiki is an open and collaborative platform, and the editing rules and technical operations feel very complicated. At first, because the edited content did not meet the requirements, it was always deleted, which made me very upset, but gradually learned the importance of neutrality and slowly learned how to add wiki content correctly.
Suggestions to improve the international student experience
For students who have just arrived, everything in Korea is unfamiliar to them. If the school can provide a native student to provide guidance, I believe that the study abroad experience will be greatly improved. In addition, you should also participate in more school activities and make friends to learn more.
