Politics and globalization have a deeply interconnected relationship. Globalization has increased international cooperation and interdependence. Through this, nations can jointly address global issues such as environmental challenges, terrorism, and human rights. For example, the Paris Agreement demonstrates how globalization enables political collaboration.  


However, globalization raises concerns about the weakening of national sovereignty. International organizations like the World Trade Organization (WTO) set norms and influence national policies, which some countries perceive as interference in their internal affairs.  


Globalization also facilitates the spread of political ideologies. Values such as democracy, human rights, and the rule of law have spread to many countries through globalization. At the same time, globalization carries the risk of authoritarian regimes or regional conflicts spreading internationally.  


Moreover, globalization can exacerbate political and economic inequality. Power imbalances between developed and developing countries may intensify, leading to political tensions.  


On the other hand, globalization contributes to the development of international civil society. Organizations like NGOs use global networks to exert pressure on international political issues.  


In conclusion, globalization is a complex phenomenon that simultaneously promotes political cooperation and conflict. It is crucial for nations and the international community to manage it effectively.
