What is the relation between culture and globalization?
On the one hand, in the context of globalization, exchanges between different cultures are becoming more frequent. Some Western cultures, such as pop music, clothing, and media, are more popular and have a certain influence on other cultures in the world. This is in line with the doctrine that globalization leads to the homogenization of cultures around the world.
On the other hand, globalization has also stimulated the awareness of different cultural identities and promoted cultural diversity.
The premise is that there is mutual respect between cultures. Global communication is not one-way and draws on the strengths of other cultures.
In addition, cultural homogenization is not a definite process, and culture is more of a pluralistic coexistence and dynamic blending.
In general, globalization does increase the likelihood of cultural influences from outside, but it does not necessarily lead to the formation of a single "global culture".
The trend of globalization is that cultural exchanges are becoming more frequent, but it is still necessary to protect and promote the traditional cultures of various ethnic groups.
The key is to integrate foreign cultures, inherit and promote one's own fine culture, and develop an inclusive and diverse cultural outlook.
